As singers from around the world poured into Cincinnati for the World Choir Games this month, the area’s hospitals served as a testing ground for new mobile language translation software.
Dayton-based interpreting firm Vocalink placed iPads loaded with its new app, AutoTriage, with many of the region’s major medical centers, including University, Christ and the hospitals of TriHealth and St. Elizabeth Healthcare. The technology was provided as a free trial.
